    • Public Profile Sharing: Users can now create and share public profile links outside the platform

      • Enable or disable your public profile from settings
      • Generate a unique, shareable link (for example, noormatch.com/p/abc123xyz) that works for non-registered users

      • Public profile pages use the new profile design and stay updated when your profile changes

    • User Blocking: Users can now block other users to prevent unwanted interactions

      • Block users directly from their profile page or chat
      • View and manage blocked users from settings
      • Blocked users cannot send you requests, message you, or view your profile
      • Existing matches, requests, and conversations are ended when a block is created
      • Blocked users are automatically filtered from browse, matches, and requests
      • A cooldown helps prevent repeated block/unblock abuse

    • Compatibility Insights: Profile pages now include a clearer compatibility breakdown

      • See an overall match score with separate areas for deen, location, lifestyle, family plans, and life stage
      • Review highlighted strengths and areas that may need discussion before sending a request
      • Deal breakers and strong preferences are surfaced more clearly when they affect compatibility
      • Sparse profiles now have capped compatibility scores so high percentages do not overstate confidence

    • Expanded Search Algorithm: Browse search now uses a more comprehensive matching algorithm and includes a language filter for more relevant results

    • Match Credit Refund Requests: Eligible free brothers can now request a match credit refund from help settings when a match does not respond

      • Refund requests are reviewed by the team
      • Approved refunds restore the match credit so you can connect with someone new

  • Pricing Model Update

    • Free brothers now have up to 10 lifetime matches
    • A match credit is intended to count toward meaningful matches where both sides have an opportunity to interact
    • If a match does not lead to meaningful interaction because the other person stops responding, brothers can request a match credit refund from the settings help center
    • This keeps NoorMatch accessible while introducing limits needed for sustainable platform growth

    • Profile Page Redesign: Profile pages now use a cleaner layout with improved spacing, cards, badges, and mobile responsiveness
    • Smarter Browse Results: Browse now prepares AI profile data and compatibility scores before showing recommendations, reducing stale or incomplete match scores
    • Structured Deal Breakers: Strong written boundaries such as required languages, relocation limits, smoking, alcohol, children, and practice expectations are interpreted more accurately
    • Match Limit Guidance: Active match limits are now clearer, with better banners and upgrade messaging when a limit blocks a new match
    • Dashboard Polish: Browse, matches, requests, notifications, and settings have improved loading states, mobile layouts, and clearer empty states
    • Wali Dashboard Polish: Wali pages for requests, matches, saved profiles, shared images, notifications, and settings have been refreshed for easier review
    • Announcements: Announcement links now work reliably even when an announcement is missing a slug

  • Added new reasons for deleting an account: Found Match Outside NoorMatch and I Was Curious About the App 30-Day Delayed Account Deletion: Account deletion now includes a 30-day grace period. When you request account deletion, your account is immediately deactivated but you can restore it anytime within 30 days by simply logging back in. This prevents accidental deletions and reduces account recreation abuse.

  • You can now see the last active status of a user in the browse page and profile page, this feature can be disabled in account settings if you wish to not allow others to see your activity, but you will then not be able to see the activity of others

  • Removed request filter feature as it was not being used and was causing confusion

  • Community feedback can now be provided from both users rather than just the other user, this can be done in the matches page

  • New Features

  • Added main country region options (North America, South America, Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Africa, Central Asia, South Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania) for easier filtering, displayed in logical geographical order alongside individual countries

  • When declining a match request, you can now select a reason for the decline to help the other person understand your decision

  • You can now hide profiles which you have sent requests and received requests from in the browse page

    • Pro Users can rematch once after unmatching someone or being unmatched by someone
    • Rematching sends a new request to the user you are rematching with, and the user will have to accept it to activate the match and the conversation again

  • Updated policy: Sisters are now required to add their wali when starting a conversation with a match

  • ⭐ Premium users now have more control over who can send them requests based on Religiosity, Region, Age, Height & Weight, Language and Strictness of the filters.

  • Users can now pause or deactivate your account at any time. This will hide your profile and pause any ongoing activity. If you have an active subscription, it will also be paused and you'll need to restart it manually when you return. Lifetime plan users will remain active, as their access is a one-time purchase.

  • Localised pricing plans: The platform now supports multiple currencies

  • Users are now requried to take an oath to Allah SWT when signing up

  • Updated the layout of the questionnaire, adding a sidebar and a progressbar on mobile
